Alto Grande Super Premium Puerto Rican Ground Coffee 8.8 oz
Packaged in reseal able decorative round tin

Taste one of the finest coffees in the world.  Alto Grande is one of only three super premium ranked coffees in the world.

Alto Grande was founded in Puerto Rico in the year 1839, and is grown and processed at the Alto Grande Hacienda high up in the central mountains of Puerto Rico at around an altitude of 1,500 feet near the town of Lares, an area with the perfect climate for growing premium coffee. What sets Alto Grande apart is the care that goes into selecting only the finest size 17 or larger Grade A Arabica beans picked within the last eight hours as they will have the most robust flavor, and the attention devoted to every single bean during the roasting process, most specialty coffees take only two days to process while the Alto Grande's process takes eight days. Because of this time consuming selective and roasting process Alto Grande Super Premium Coffee is only available in limited supplies.

Alto Grande
roasts their beans to a dark French roast and grind to a fine grain
, this gourmet coffee has been described as having a creamy buttery body with nutty hints and undertones of chocolate, a strong aroma with a very attractive caramel smell and hints of almond. The aftertaste is softly bittersweet with touches of the previously mentioned chocolate, caramel, almond flavors. Which makes for a perfectly balanced cup of coffee, not surprisingly this coffee is known as the coffee of Popes and Kings.
