Activities to do & places to experience while visiting Puerto Rico:

  1. Eat local fried fritters from road side vendors in Pinones just a couple of miles east of the hotel strip in Isla Verde.

  2. Spend the day at the beach, soaking up the sun and playing in the water.

  3. Rent a bike in Pinones and go riding on the designated 8 mile trail along the beach and thru the mangroves.

  4. Go wave surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or kayaking. There are many places that rent the appropriate equipment.

  5. Learn a new sport, if you don't know how to do these sports but want to learn there are many schools offering lessons along with the rentals.

  6. Go tarpon fishing on the lagoons.

  7. Go deep sea fishing for Marlin, Tuna, and other big game fish.

  8. Shop in Old San Juan.

  9. Visit the two massive forts (San Cristobal & El Morro) while in Old San Juan.

  10. Explore the many museums and art galleries San Juan has to offer.

  11. Go golfing at the many resorts and golf courses around the island, some of them championship courses.

  12. Go to the Cave Park at Camuy.

  13. Visit the radio telescope observatory near the city of Arecibo.

  14. Visit the pre-colombian Indian ball courts near Utuado.

  15. Go to one of the many stables in Luquillo and go horseback riding.

  16. Go to Luquillo beach enjoy the day, and eat at the food stands along the beach.

  17. Visit our rain forest El Yunque near the town of Luquillo.

  18. Climb to the highest peak for a fantastic view, and see the Atlantic Ocean to your north and the Caribbean Sea to your south, with just a turn of your head.

  19. Go hiking on one of the many trails.

  20. While hiking in the rain forest, play in a waterfall.

  21. Take a day long drive around the entire island (approximately an full day drive).

  22. Drive up in to the mountains at Caimito and eat the most amazing food from the local restaurants roasting entire pigs.

  23. Visit the casinos for a night of fun and excitement.

  24. Kayak the bioluminescent lagoon near Fajardo.

  25. Take the ferry to  the nearby spanish virgin islands (Vieques and Culebra).

  26. Party at one of the many festivals throughout the year.

  27. Ask the concierge at the hotel where the "hotspots" of night life are, there is always something happening for every age group and party up a storm.
